Matt founded Hillway in 2024 after a 20+ year career spanning the full spectrum of commercial property management. His track record includes scaling property management teams and operations to over 5 million square feet under management. As Managing Director, Matt sets the strategic direction of the business and leads on the design and development of Hillway's technology solutions, from AI-powered platforms to bespoke automation tools built for the property sector. He also continues to advise clients directly on asset management and digital transformation.

Jamie Smyth

Director

MRICS

Jamie is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years' experience in property investment, development and asset management. He has built and scaled a privately funded property portfolio and multiple operating businesses across South Yorkshire, each designed to operate independently through strong systems, technology and people. At Hillway, Jamie leads the growth of Hillway Digital, our PropTech and digital transformation division, helping property businesses work smarter through AI-powered tools, platform strategy and bespoke digital solutions.

Katie Hunt

Finance Director

Katie oversees Hillway's financial operations, managing the company accounts, bookkeeping, and financial administration that keeps the practice running smoothly. Her meticulous approach ensures accuracy, compliance, and transparency across all aspects of the business. Katie also leads on Xero integration and financial workflow automation across the practice.

Alex Brazier

Graduate Surveyor

Alex is developing his surveying career at Hillway, gaining hands-on experience across commercial property and asset management consultancy. Working closely with Matt and Jamie, Alex is building a strong foundation in RICS professional standards while embracing the technology-driven approach that sets Hillway apart. He supports the team across client portfolios and is working towards his professional qualifications.
